Hidden Gems: Meet Mallory Strange of Bach Babes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mallory Strange.

Mallory, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved event planning, social media, and marketing. I’ve worked in various jobs doing corporate social media, corporate event planning, marketing agency, etc. Each of my jobs sculpted me to prepare me for where I am today – planning bachelorette parties and marketing everything via social media!

Bach Babes started when a friend was coming to town for her sister’s bachelorette party. She told me she would pay me to ship me all her decorations, help put them up at the Airbnb, and help her plan fun things to do in Nashville. After helping her, I realized there was a much larger need for something like this in our city so I created an Instagram and a website and went from there! I was working a full-time job for Home Depot corporate doing their creative social media and doing Bach Babes as just a little side hobby.

Success was certainly not instant, as I spent a few months with only a few leads that ultimately came up dry. I decided to take my business to TikTok and almost overnight, it absolutely blew up and clients started to roll in. From there, we started building relationships with other businesses in the tourism industry, adding to our team (total of 6 now!), and continued getting our name our there in the Nashville bachelorette scene!

We now 250 parties booked, six team members, have been featured on CNBC, partner with some of the biggest companies in Nashville and even have larger partnerships like David’s Bridal.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road has absolutely been a bumpy ride, but I think that is to expect with any small business. A few of the major struggles we’ve had is keeping up with demand and creating streamlined processes, getting our name out there to begin with, and just learning how to run a business with no prior business background.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Bach Babes is a full-service party planning company based out of Nashville. We do everything from decorating Airbnb’s before the groups arrive, to mimosa bars and goody bags, to itinerary planning. We’re really their Nashville fairy godmothers making their lives easier!

We specialize in bachelorette parties but we also love working with birthday parties, bachelor parties, girl’s weekends, and really anything worth celebrating!

Something that sets us apart from other businesses is our attention to detail and our partnerships. Every party that we create is customized down to the bride’s new last name on the champagne labels. We curate each party to the groups liking, including which theme they want, what colors they want, the bride’s name, etc., so the bride feels like the weekend is tailored exactly to HER! Our partnerships are another huge thing that sets us apart in the industry. Every group that books with us receives exclusive discounts with our partners to get free drinks while they’re out, custom menus at restaurants, discounts on activities, and so much more that makes their weekend feel elevated from the time they step off the plane. Some of our partners include VICI Boutique, The Nash Collection, Virgin Hotel, Ole Smokey Distillery, City Winery, Adele’s, 21C Hotel, and so many more!

Something that makes me so proud is that we are bringing to life so many women’s dream weekends. Lots of women dream about their wedding and the events that come along with it and it feels so awesome that they trust us with such a special occasion. Seeing all the posts of events we create and how happy these groups are really makes it all worth it.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
We’re always looking for new partnerships! We love working with local businesses to Nashville to provide our groups with authentic Nashville experiences.
